where is the time going?
Actually I know why it's been such a long time since I last updated this - it's cos I'm using a pregnancy diary elsewhere so all my inane whitterings are elsewhere!
But just for the future I thought I'd post tonight (and also I'm very bored and it's too early for bed) to update.
I'm now 28w pg and feeling like the size of a house.
However pg seems to be going nicely. Baby is not tiny but I never thought it would be otherwise. I'm not 100% sure of my mw just yet, doesn't fill me with confidence, so I'm still judging her as to whether I'll stay with her or try to find another one (if I can).
The family are good. Ds is now in y4, settling in nicely (although he's tired). He's got a bloke teacher this year who is a bit "old school" and I've got high hopes for him - ds really gets on with people like that so hopefully this'll be really interesting and helpful for him.
Dd1 has started school!! She looks SOOO growed up in her uniform and everything! She is absolutely loving it. It's a big class (although only half the class is there at the mo till she goes full time in a few weeks) - it's 32 children and only 10 of them are girls :S
Dd2 is chaotic and great fun. She's 2 now!! She decided she doesn't want to share the limelight so decided to start potty training which I must admit I haven't grabbed with two hands just yet, I want to wait till dd1 is full time as we're still a bit all over the place with our days just now. She's still bf, normally only a couple of times a day and eeeek it feels so very strange when you are pg. I don't know whether she'll carry on or not when baby comes but we'll see, I don't mind, I'll just go with the flow. I have started imposing rules though and won't feed her when we're out - although she did demand boo boo today at an open house but 3 of the 4 other mums all knew I was still bf and 2 possibly 3 of them are bf too (one has 4m old baby, one 14m baby and one 15m baby).
Me and dh have had a few rows but at the moment life is fairly cool. Busy and we never have any money but it's okay. I've been managing to sort out some of the house and get it a bit more organised which is wonderful.
I've still not progressed with my bfc training, and my tutor is breathing down my neck very heavily now. I don't know if it's a reluctance to move onto the next stage (of being qualified) or just laziness on my part, or just a self fulfilling prophesy that I never seem to finish things I start. I taught a class the other week and that went well, despite only 3 couples attending (out of 7). I know I can finish and the end is in sight, it's just such an effort to make the final push to the finish line.
I realised today that I think 28w is officially entering the 3rd trimester - oooh scary!! I feel very excited about having a fourth child though. I don't care if it's a boy or girl, I really don't mind either way. Dh wants a boy so I would like him to have a boy but if it's a girl then so be it. I love having daughters so a third wouldn't be a problem for me. It would be nice to make dh (and ds) happy though with a son. I'm really looking forward to labour again too - it's such an exciting experience. Oh and the baby at the end is obviously quite nice too LOL.
Oh we have changed the car as I wrote off the old car a few months ago, didn't manage to stop in time in the rain and went into the back of someone else :( Still, we needed a bigger car anyhow so now we have a big blue bus aka a citroen synergie. I'm still getting used to it as it feels quite van-like to drive but I'm definitely feeling more comfy.
Over summer we went on holiday to Scotland, staying in a caravan park for a week near dh's family, and then stopping at a youth hostel on the way home in the pennines for 3 nights. It was a really really brilliant break and I still feel chilled out from it now. I could post piccies but I just don't know which to post so I won't!
I am shattered now though as I have spent a lot of time today making a scarecrow for our village's first annual scarecrow competition! It was great fun and after school we went round to view all the other scarecrows (28 in all). We'll find out tomorrow who won but I doubt it would be ours as they weren't very scarecrow-like - I didn't have any straw LOL.
Night!
